Sometimes I wonder why people blog so much. I like to keep a journal of my thoughts, actually it is really a recording of my conversations with God. That might sound a bit freaky to some – but it has been the greatest tool for spiritual exploration, self-actualization, and overall personal growth. I love it. But do I want to plaster that all over the internet. Are these personal, intimate thoughts meant for others. I have often thought that maybe I will publish my journals one day. All of my deep dark secrets, all of my pains, joys, and fears.

Maybe my journaling isn’t so much about impressing others or even educating others. Maybe it is more about personal exploration and spiritual evolution.

I also like words. I like to play with words. I don’t always have the most insight, or brilliance, but I do like to play with words. I like learning how to use new words, different words, and words that rhyme.

I am beginning this blog to see why blogging matters. Does it matter? Will it matter in my life? I like to read other people’s blogs, but will I like writing my own blog?
