Message to My Leaders, Pt.1
By adminFollowing Jesus is not for spiritual sissies or whiners, especially when it comes to leading others out of the pit of hell and into an eternity with God. God is calling us to the ultimate level of sacrifice – to lay down our lives for the people of Manchester, for those far from God in our city. As a faith community that begins with us, the leadership team. That is no small thing – you are responsible for heaven & hell in people’s lives. Don’t run from it and don’t minimize it. It is the call God has put on your life as a Christ-learner; if it is too much then move on now before more people are really depending on you.
We want to make it hard to go to hell from downtown Manchester – join me in this heavenly revolution and we will begin to see people experience the divine rescue of Jesus Christ all over New England (which happens to be the least “churched” region in the U.S. – NH being the least “churched” state).
It comes as no surprise that Jesus has given to us such a magnificent vision to inject people with the Gospel serum and see their forever altered here in Manchester, the largest city in northern New England. There are over 200,000 people in the Greater Manchester area. Even if we had 100 churches running 1,000 people per church that would still only be half the people God wants to bring divine rescue to.
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9 NLT)
